DMARC Checker

A DMARC record tells receivers what to do when a message fails SPF and DKIM alignment, and where to send reports. This checker reads your _dmarc record, shows the enforcement policy (p=none, quarantine or reject) and whether aggregate reporting is on. Gmail and Yahoo now require DMARC for bulk senders.

DMARC Checker, FAQ

What is a DMARC record?
DMARC is a DNS TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain starting with v=DMARC1. It sets a policy for messages that fail authentication and requests reports.
What is the difference between p=none, quarantine and reject?
p=none only monitors; quarantine sends failures to spam; reject blocks them outright. Start at none with reporting, then tighten to reject once your legitimate mail passes.
Do Gmail and Yahoo require DMARC?
Yes, since 2024 bulk senders to Gmail and Yahoo must publish at least a p=none DMARC record with aligned SPF or DKIM, or their mail is rejected or spam-foldered.
